Inbox & My Tasks

In a Dossier it is possible to assign Tasks or be assigned Tasks. In either case, it makes sense to have an overview of the Tasks that you are responsible for and Tasks that Clients need to complete in Dossiers that you are responsible for.

Similarly, you want quick access to all Messages that you have received. Every user has their own Inbox for Messages from other Team Members or Clients and System Messages.

If you’re an Administrator you can even see all the Tasks that any Team Member or Client is responsible for.

Open your Inbox

To the right of the Menu you see two icons. One icon looks a little bit like an envelope, the other one looks like a to-do list. Click on the envelope icon to open your Inbox.

If the little circle with the number of unread Messages is red, that means you have urgent System Messages.

This is also the easiest and quickest way to get to all the other Messaging functionality.

See your own Tasks

In order to see the Tasks that you, yourself, need to complete you go the My Tasks page. To the right of the Menu you see two icons. One icon looks a little bit like an envelope, the other one looks like a to-do list. Click on that to-list icon to open your Tasks.

If the little circle with the number of Tasks is red, that means you have tasks with expired Deadlines.

You can use the filtering and search options at the top of the page to find the information you need.

If you click on any Task, it will take you straight to the relevant Task in the Dossier.

See your Clients’ Tasks

In order to see the Tasks that your Clients must complete in Dossiers that you are assigned to you go to the My Clients Tasks page.

On the My Clients Tasks page you can see all the things your Clients should be doing.

To find the My Clients Tasks page, you:

  • Go to the My Tasks page by clicking the little Tasks icon.
  • Then click on the My Clients button just below the Tasks page title.

You can use the filtering and search options at the top of the page to find the Tasks you need.

If you click on any Task, it will take you straight to the relevant Task in the Dossier, where you can send the Client a reminder to complete the Task or check if there is anything you do for them.

See all Team Members’ Tasks

If you are an Administrator, you can see all open Tasks. In order to see all the Tasks that any Team Member must complete in every Dossiers, regardless of who the Dossier is assigned to, you go to the Team Members Tasks page.

To find the Team Members Tasks page, you:

  • Go to the My Tasks page by clicking the little Tasks icon.
  • Then click on the Team Members button just below the Tasks page title.

See all Clients’ Tasks

If you are an Administrator, you can see all open Tasks for any Client. In order to see all the Tasks that any Client must complete in every Dossiers, regardless of who the Dossier is assigned to, you go to the All Clients Tasks page.

To find the All Clients Tasks page, you:

  • Go to the My Tasks page by clicking the little Tasks icon.
  • Then click on the All Clients button just below the Tasks page title.

You can use the filtering and search options at the top of the page to find the Tasks you need.

If you click on any Task, it will take you straight to the relevant Task in the Dossier, where you can send the Client a reminder to complete the Task or check if there is anything you do for them.
