Find a Dossier

There are a few ways to find a Dossier throughout your portal. We will highlight the most important ones here.

Using the Dossiers page

In the Menu at the top of the page, you will find a link to the Dossiers page. This link opens the Dossiers page where you can use our filtering, searching and sorting options to find the Dossier you need. The Dossiers page also has four special filters at the top that allow you to quickly narrow down Cancelled, Active and Finished Dossiers.

Using the quick filter buttons at the top of the Dossiers page, you can quickly find all the Cancelled, Active and Finished Dossier.s.

From a Dashboard

Both your own Dashboard and Client Dashboards have a Dossier widget at the top of the page that shows the most recent Dossier you or the Client worked on. If you click on the View Dossier button on that Dossier widget, that will open the relevant Dossier page.

Using pop ups when creating a Document, Invoice or Message

When you want to create a new Document, Invoice or Message and link it to a specific Dossier, you will need to select the relevant Dossier in a pop up window. Here we will use composing a Message as an example.

The easiest way to search for a Dossier is to first select the Client in the Message composer. Your portal than automatically filters to show only his Dossiers in the drop down list with Dossiers.

This will look slightly different for Documents and Invoices, but it works exactly the same way.
